Further changes to the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8, as Lions have decided to bow out and Virtus.pro have been added to Group A.
Lions decision to pull out of the tournament comes after a rather unsatisfying appearance at DreamHack Summer 2011, where they failed to make it out of the group stage.
They are the third team who have withdrawn their participation from the league within the last 48 hours, following mTw and Excello, the latter earlier today.
As a result, Group C is now left with fnatic and KerchNET as the remaining teams. They will not be joined by any other squads, and will therefore advance directly to the finals.
Prior to being acquired by Virtus.pro, USSR decided to leave the tournament and Group A. While they now represent a new organization, the team has been re-added to their old group.
Virtus.pro's former team were initially seated in Group B, but the tournament organizers determined it would be better to place them back in their original group.
